The Chateau de Durfort is located at the south of Lagrasse and is private property, but should you wish to visit the owners will let you, but do note this isnt being repaired and falling stones are a hazard.

Blueprint

In the wild landscapes of Corbieres. The Chateau de Durfort appears for the first time in the texts at the end of XIth century, its lords are Counts of Carcassonne. At the time of the Crusade against the Albigensians the lord of Durfort lines up on the side of the cathares; after many adventures, the castle returns to its owner of origin.
In the XVIIth century, the Chateau du Durfort loses its strategic interest after the Peace of the Pyrenees, it is then arranged to offer more comfort to those who are housed inside. It is finally abandoned in the XVIIIth century.
