The vault of Vaulry, such as it appears today, was built in 1886, that is to say in full period of the great steel constructions of Gustave Eiffel and Victor Baltard. although the church originally dates from the 13th century.

Blueprint

The vault of the nave is supported by a metal frame, just like the church Saint-Augustin, built in Paris by Victor Baltard of 1860 to 1871, which rests entirely on a metal framework.
The vault of the dome, was restored recently out of chestnut wood. It is remarkably well done, carried out by limousin craftsmen. The walls are decorated with a fresco and the stained glasses which all had been broken were replaced.
