Barbazan is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in south-western France, Chapelle Inachevee is located in the park of the thermal baths, its construction was started around 1885, a local priest in Barbazan proposed to build the chapel at top of the village.
A known character illustrates the history of the small town, let us announce Arnault Guilhem, lord of Barbazan, who was born in 1360, who was captain who fought against the English and who was killed on July 2, 1431 in the battle de Bulgneville (Vosges).
The current establishment was built in 1901, they are believed to be the access which the Romans used who first discovered the benefits of this area: In 72BC. Strabon (another Roman of the time of Auguste and of Cesar), in his Geographical Studies, seemed to refer to the virtues of water of Barbazan he wrote: 'I met in the pays des Convenes a admirable water, very salutary with health'
but away from that as we are here may as well look at the baths, known since Roman times, we arrived at this very unloved, boarded up location, falling to pieces, not much here in the way of life, but how different it was as these pictures show, the hotel a long time gone, not a visible sign it was ever there.
