Fronsac is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in south-western France, situated on the former Route nationale 618, the "Route of the Pyrenees".
There are many features in Fronsac showing the presence of the Romans. In the Middle Ages, the chateau is the main home of the Comtes de Comminges in the XVIth century. Fronsac is also the seat of the Arch priest of Frontignes around the time of the Revolution. worth a visit: the medieval tower of the XIIth century and the monument of the virgin.
