Saillat-sur-Vienne (Occitan: Salhac) is a commune in the Haute-Vienne department in the Limousin region in west-central France.

The town is located on the edge of a meteoritic crater, formed there approximately 214 million years ago, the Astrobleme de Rochechouart-Chassenon. It is also home to the International Paper Company
