Built between 1154 and 1159, Boschaud had profited, for its construction, of the generosities of the very close Abbaye de P?rouse. Its architecture is enthralling, associating the great principles cisteriens with a typical style of Perigord.


The breathtaking ruins of this medieval abbey with has a romantic mixture of Cisterian and Roman styles, Plays host to many concerts and art exhibitions, and is open all year round for guided tours (contact local tourist office).
